Victoria M. Colbert

February 4, 1963 - November 22, 2016

Victoria Monyette Yeakey was born February 4, 1963 to her biological parents, Almar L. Jarrahi & James L. Carmens. She was raised in El Reno, OK. by Juanita & Zarakov Yeakey along with her two younger brothers, Terrance & Leslie Yeakey all of which proceeded her in death. Vickie, as she is lovingly known by her family and friends, was also proceeded in death by her older sister Reginia L. Calaway & her biological father. Vickie received her primary years of education in El Reno and obtained her high school diploma in Tulsa, OK. Vickie married her childhood sweetheart Gary D. Colbert on June 20, 2014 & together they share seven children; LaCresha, Jacquin, and Brian all of whom are from a previous marriage by way of Vickie M. Colbert. David, Meiggan, Auria, and Eric all of whom are from a previous marriage by way of Gary D. Colbert. In addition to their blessed lineage of children they also shar fourteen beautiful grandchildren: Jaylin, Anniyah, Alejandro, Joshua, Austin, Jayden, Olivia, Zion, Messiah, Zafina, Ruchelle, Donna, Isaiah and Eric Jr. Vickie never fell short of being a dreamer with high expectations and standards in her faith and her commitment to family and friends. This was obvious to all who knew her personally & shared in her life aspirations in life. Vickie continued her quest to constantly renew and improve herself as a phenomenal lady and ambitious women by recently enrolling in school to pursue a degree in adolescent counseling. Although, Vickie had been a business owner for many years of a cleaning business & worked in home healthcare for an extended timeframe, her true passion was in fashion. This passion lead her to also seek an interest in a business management degree, which would allow her to propel her entrepreneurship ventures to the next level. This blessed & highly favored angel to Christ, Mrs. Victoria M. Colbert will be dearly missed & forever held close to the hearts and minds of her mother Almar L. Jarrahi, husband Gary D. Colbert, her sisters: Marilynn Bills of Kansas City, KS. & LaShon Hargrove of Perkins, OK. her brother Kenneth Brown of Sayre, Ok. her children and grandchildren, as well as a multitude of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends all of whom survive her. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 30, 2016 in the Faith Family Church. Elder G.W. Bookman will officiate. Interment will be in the El Reno Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.
