Melvin Lee McCormack was born on October 23, 1933 in Reydon, Oklahoma and passed away on December 17, 2020 in Yukon. He was raised in the Hinton area and moved to California later in life. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked for Lockheed for many years and eventually retired and moved back home to Oklahoma. His dream was to retire on a small farm and that is exactly what he did. He also invested in real estate properties and had several houses in the El Reno area. He enjoyed his time at home with his family as well as traveling to different casinos around the country. He was preceded in death by his parents Emmitt and Elma McCormack, 3 sons, Greg, Melvin & Jeff as well as 4 sisters and 2 brothers. He is survived by his wife Virginia of Okarche, OK, grandchildren Angela Klohn of El Reno, Jason McCormack and wife Sherry of Yukon, Michelle McCormack of Spokane, WA, Amanda McCormack of St. Louis, MO and Melvin McCormack Jr. and wife Jennifer of Ardmore. Great grandchildren Dolan McCormack of Yukon, Chandler White of El Reno, Hunter, Madison & Joey Klohn of El Reno, Bethany, Isac & Rider McCormack of Ardmore, Austin and Jade McCormack of Yukon and Grace Skains of Texas. Sisters Sara Rowekamp of Ohio and Ann Davis and husband Cecil of Calumet.
