Margaret Ann Zweiacher

January 8, 1929 - January 23, 2021

Margaret Ann (Oldfield) Zweiacher, 92, life long El Reno Resident, went to be with her Heavenly Father, January 23, 2021 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Margaret was born January 8, 1929 to E.W. and Bertha (Kirby) Oldfield in El Reno, Oklahoma. Margaret graduated from El Reno High School in May of 1947. On March 14, 1948 she married the love of her life, Raymond Delford Zweiacher and from this union came three children, Ed, Tom, and Ramona. A number of years after Raymond’s early death, she married his brother, Edward Enos Zweiacher. Margaret worked at Roach/ Malone Ford, El Reno Terminal Grain, Schulte Oil, Tag Agency and US Post Office from where she retired as clerk. During her long working career, she was also a homemaker. She also volunteered as a Pink Lady, Senior Citizens Activity Director, and at many church functions. She was a hard worker, who loved to help others. Margaret had a tremendous faith in God, she spent her entire lifetime serving the Lord and was a lifelong member of the Nazarene Church in El Reno. She was also a member of NARFE (National Association of Retired Federal Employees), and OSU Home Extension Club. She enjoyed her time at Saint Katherine’s and River Oaks of El Reno especially visiting with new friends and playing bingo. She also enjoyed her time with friend Kay Tinsley. Margaret lived life to the fullest and left a beautiful memory behind for all her family and friends to cherish forever. Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, E W Oldfield and Bertha Kirby Oldfield; husbands Raymond Zweiacher and Edward Zweiacher; one sister, Janet Geraldine Oldfield (buried at Ft Reno); a set of twin siblings, and son in law, Albert Shinn. She is survived by her children, Ed Zweiacher and wife Barbara, of El Reno, Tom Zweiacher and wife Georgia of Oklahoma City and Ramona Shinn of Arlington, TX; eight grandchildren, Heidi Ann Schaffer, Marla Mulanax and husband Mark, Doug Zweiacher, Jon Zweiacher and wife Allison, Amy Lawson and husband Josh, Melissa Hansen, Jennifer Shinn and Karl Shinn and wife Breeana; twenty great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sisters, Maurine Long and husband Jack of El Reno and Patsy Boswell of Oklahoma City; and brother Charles Oldfield and wife Pam of Oklahoma City. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service to honor the life of Margaret will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, January 28, 2021 at the First Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Mark Fryar officiating. Burial will follow the service at Mennoville Mennonite Cemetery. Viewing will be held at Wilson Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 26 from 11:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M. and Wednesday, January 27 from 8:00 A.M. – 8:00 P.M.
