A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., May 18, 2022 at First Christian Church, burial will follow in the El Reno Cemetery. Come and go viewing will be held at the funeral home Tuesday, May 17 from 9:00 a.m.- 8:00 p.m. Florence Larene Mark, 89, of El Reno, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2022, with her family by her side. She was born on December 1, 1932 to Charles Marshall and Frances Ruth Smith in Hinton. On January 20, 1950, she married her true love, Joe Edward Mark. Florence was a devoted Christian, loving wife, selfless mother and nurturing Mema. Her morals and values were great examples for her family and those around her. When she was able, she enjoyed gardening and crafting. Later on, she loved to work on jigsaw puzzles and crochet. Many people have one or more of the blankets, trivets or wash cloths she crocheted. She is survived by four daughters Linda Mulanax and Steve, Cathy Villaflor and Dick, Jeannie Atkins, Patty Mills and Peter; 12 grandchildren Jacob Johnson and Amanda, Jason Johnson and Trisha Parks, Jeremy Johnson and Jessica King, Mark Mulanax and Marla, Kendon Mulanax and Diana, Misty Chute and Andy, Natalie Modin and Andy, Caleb Villaflor, Carissa Beaudreau and Mitchell, Matt Atkins and Kola, Jace Mills and Kelly, Markus Mills; 32 great-grandchildren Garrett and Berkley Johnson, Cooper and Grae Johnson, Leah Beakey, Caleb Parks, Bailey Jarolim, Mikaylee Rogers, Maggie and JoJo Johnson, Dustee Young, Jackson King, Mercedes, Maisie, Hunter and Trapper Mulanax, Kendon Andrew Mulanax and Rebecca, Tank Mulanax, Bethany Mulanax, Taylar Redlin and Tell, Dallas Chute and Sarah, Braedy Chute and Rebecca, Morgan Chute, Jadyn Chute, Michaiah, Mordecai, Elizabeth, Elihu and Asher Modin, Mattie and Mae Bonner, and JJ Mills; and four great-great grandchildren Ellie Mulanax, Aria and Bowen Chute and Charlie Chute. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe Mark, daughter Jo Lea Johnson, grandsons David Mulanax, Joey Atkins and PJ Mills, and son-in-law Paul Atkins. A church youth camp scholarship memorial fund has been set up with the First Christian Church, if you would like to make a donation in Florence’s memory.
